Voir SCU® cleanroom thermal insulation material is a new type of nanocomposite film that uses aerogel as the core functional material and PTFE as the cross-linked framework. It leverages the extremely low thermal conductivity of aerogel (as low as 0.018 W/(m·K)) and the excellent ductility of PTFE to achieve thermal insulation performance beyond that of conventional materials at extremely thin thicknesses (as thin as 50 microns).
Excellent thermal insulation
Thermal conductivity between 0.020 and 0.024 W/m·K
Customizable shape and thickness
Available thickness between 0.08 and 2.0 mm
Excellent electrical insulation
Withstands a voltage of nearly 10 kV/mm, isolating electrical short circuits and RF interference
Elastic, flexible material
Improves the impact resistance of equipment and components
Can be combined with different functional materials to meet performance requirements in multiple respects
High product cleanliness
Suitable for Class 100 cleanroom environments
